    R.E.E.Sessionz III - Sunday June 21 EPT


     

    EP SoundStash & Sun City Sports and Academics Institute are hosting the third installment of their R.E.E. Sessionz this Sunday, June 21, with a FREE "Poppin Party For Pops" at Hot Rods and Wheels, 1501 Bengal.

     

    The show will benefit charities Sun City Sports and Academics Institute and Hands of Love and Hope. Guests are encouraged to bring canned goods and used clothing and shoes for the El Paso and Juarez orphans that Hands of Love and Hope caters to. 


    Special guests Visions of the Sun, Sun City Roller Girls and Mad Vizual Poetz will be on-site with workshops for arts, crafts, music and rollerskating education.

    We've got local indie rock performances by: Afro Taxi, Angel Syndrome, Molly Mae Black, and Clip Joint, alongside local hip hop DJs JayTee and Bless1ne.

    Guests can also register to win a Nintendo Wii with 10 games during our 8pm raffle.

    Join us this Father's Day at 3pm for great entertainment, food and culture with a Poppin' Party For Pops at Hot Rods & Wheels 1501 Bengal St.

    WAJEED live Boat Party in ATX 7/18


    Waajeed is no stranger to those who know their beats. After helping Slum Village get from dot to bang with J Dilla in the mid-'90s, he dropped cuts with Dwele and a series of classics on his label Bling47. Then came PPP, a collaboration between Waajeed and Saadiq, with guests like Sa-Ra and Spacek, the Platinum Pied Pipers album brought a blend of Detroit soul, hip hop, house and rock to the table. Like a lot of cats from the D, Waajeed is all about the music. Platinum has never sounded so good!
